1st Annual Team Hailey 5K Run/Walk for a Cure
Saturday April 26, 2008
Come out and join us for a FUN and healthy event. 100% of the proceeds from this run/walk will be funneled to the PLGA Foundation to fund research for Hailey's tumor type. We encourage people of all ages to participate, whether you are a competitive runner or wish to walk the course at a leisurely pace.
Event Information:
The Run/Walk starts at 8:30 am on Saturday, April 26th. Registration begins at Germania Hall at 7:00 am. Same day registrations will be accepted until 8:00 am. T-shirts, goodie bags and post race refreshments included. For those who register after April 12, T-shirts will be available while supplies last. If possible, please collect pledges on the sponsor form from people who will sponsor you to run or walk, and bring them on the day of the event. For each $100 you raise, your name will be entered into a drawing for great prizes. Pre race day packet pickup on Friday 4/25 from 4-7 PM at Gold's Gym 1700 Appleton Rd Menasha.
The Course:
Begins at Germania Hall, runs through the streets of north Menasha and connects to the panoramic Friendship Trestle Trail over Little Lake Butte des Morts and back. Course Map.
Awards:
Medals to top male and female finishers overall. First place male and female in all age groups will also receive medals and 2nd and 3rd place will receive certificates. Age groups as follows: under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-over.
