I am sorry to hear the news, and I am even more sorry that I missed hailey for her last visit. I know how she wanted to hear the duck sound from me as you stated when we talked. So I did something to try to bring hailey that happiness. I put a new message on our answering machine. If she would like to hear the duck, you can call 1-608-223-0235 and listen to the duck. you don't have to leave any messages. I will look to see who it is and just leave it as a quack for hailey and not answer. I hope it will bring her a smile. My best wishes for your family, Joe (the duck) housekeeper at AFCH.

Shannon & Brian - Crying as I read you post...Our family knows how the MRI check days are and how trying and long they can be. The staff at UW and nation wide pediatric physicians who they consult with are wonderful and I have always trusted them in the best care for Trevor. You are in great hands...but glad that you will have another opinion to make sure the right care choice is made. Hugs to you both and the girls too! Praying for you each and every day. It sounds like you have a great plan to move forward and see if there are other options out there for Hailey. I sincerely hope so. I miss you and wish I could see and be there for you more. We are so sorry to hear of Hailey's MRI results. During our situation, we sent our information to doctors at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX for a second opinion. New sets of eyes, new opinions, etc.....and they were wonderful to work with. You all have been so strong and we hope and pray that you will continue to find the strength in this battle.
