Hi all,Just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and sharing in the joy that accompanies the completion of each and every round of chemo. I pray that Hailey gets the munchies real soon and begins to put on a little weight. Although the NG tube is no fun, it really did give us some peace of mind knowing that Maddy was getting proper nutrition. I really hope that Hailey can do it all by herself without any "nose tubey!" (as Maddy called it) Take care you guys and we look forward to talking to you again soon. The West'sMelissa, Sebastian & Maddywww.caringbridge.org/visit/madelinewest

Hi Brian and Shannon, I just was with Kim yesterday and heard about Hailey. Doug and I have done nothing but talked about her situation since we've known. Please know that we are praying for Hailey. I sit and cry as I write this only imagining how difficult it must be not only to know of her diagnosis, but to watch your little angel go through these treatments. Speaking from both Doug and I, our hearts and prayers go out to you both, and Hailey and Faith. You have some incredible doctors that will god-willing pull Hailey through these tough times. Reading your site, you have so many people that love all of you and will be by your side every minute they can. Knowing that, hopefully you won't feel alone.Thinking of all of you and sent with warm hugs and lots of prayers, Stacie Gries

Good morning Meltz family,So glad to hear the first treatment is under your belt and that all is fairly well - one step at a time. You're being held up by so many, many prayers from people who want to help because they care so much - with whatever resources they can. So when you feel "a little funny" about people giving financially, just remember that "giving and receiving are the same" (Attitudunal Healing Principle) - when you graciously receive something from someone you actually give them pleasure in return and the gift of feeling good. So just open up and receive with the knowledge that you truly are blessing others by allowing them to help!Love, Cheryl and Rick
