Hey Guysmore support pumping your way from all of us (Edwards and folks at the office...). Brian, your words are inspirational. All of us, every day, can remain mindful of how very fortunate we are. I am looking forward to the day that Hailey doesn't have to take any of that yucky medicine anymore. In the meantime, I am hopeful that she tingles with toddler excitement about some fun and cool thing that she and you all get to enjoy.lovingly,John

My husband, Brian, works with Shannon. He is a consultant at Theda but soon will be moving on. He has passed on the link to Hailey's story to me. I have been reading her story for a couple of weeks now. I am so moved by the strength you both show. I just can't imagine how difficult it must be for your family but it looks as though you have a good support system around you. Keep forging on. Hailey seems to be very strong and tough. Both your girls are so adorable. Michele Foote

Hello Meltz's-When you are describing how focused, determined and driven you are I can really feel it. I believe when you go through something really intensely emotional it intensifies all your emotions for all things. This was my experience. I am so proud of you guys for your strength. Hang in there with the medicine, Steffano was the same, it was a two person job. I can imagine doing it three times daily is difficult. Hopefuly she will outgrow it as Steffano did. I can't wait to see you guys next week!!!!!!!Love you so,Marcy

Hello Sweets,You continue to be an inspiration for us! I love how honest you are with us and how you let us in on your feelings. You are the best parents in the world. Your baby is so blessed to have both of you, trying to restore some normalcy to your lives yet fighting with all your might! Love you lots, Kathy & Jeff (or Feff, as I call him!):)

Hello Meltz family,This is one of your neighbors Kari Agen. We've only met once or twice. We'll meet again when we bring you dinner on July 30. I just wanted you to know that we are thinking about your family during this very difficult time. This all hits close to home for us since we also have a nephew who has been down in Madison battling AML since December. You may have met him. He's also on the 4th floor. His name is Josh Recker. His mom is Colleen and his Dad is Jim. If you ever need someone to talk to that's been there did that. They have seen and gone through it all during the past 6 mths with Josh. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers as you continue the long journey that lies ahead. Stay strong and keep fighting!

Brian and Shannon: My thoughts and prayers continue to be with all of you. I found this prayer, entitled God's Promise, that I want to share with you:God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow,or sun without rain. But God did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears and a light for the way. And for all who believe in His Kingdom above, He answers their faith with everlasting love." May God's promises keep you strong along your journey with Hailey. Blessings,
Sandy Amundson

Hi everyone, What cute updated pictures of Hailey and Faith. How are you all doing? It sounds your spirits are up and that is what you need to do is to keep the spirits up. I'm so glad to hear that Hailey has no side effects yet from the chemo. And that she is eating and hopefully gaining some weight. Your all in my prayers and thoughts all the time. Take care and have a good week!!!! Blessings Always, Miss Gretchen
