It was great to talk to you today, Shannon. Hailey is always in my thoughts and prayers. I am looking forward to talking with John and figuring out a way to raise some funds to beat this thing!!! Andy and I talked about it tonight and we had some good ideas. We'll get the ball rolling down here and see what good we can do! Love,Allison

Hi, I got your site from Patty Hubbard. We are Patty and Doug's summer neighbor's in MN. My 6 year old grandson,Taylor, has severe A-plastic Anemia since he was 2 years old. He is under the care of Dr Margolis at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee. I know how hard it is for you to go through all the proceedures with your daughter. When Taylor was 2-3, he screamed everytime he was accessed, given a shot, breathing treatments, and trying to get meds down him was a daily wresting match. The good news was when Taylor finally turned 4 he decided to take his meds in a pill form -hurrah and he hardly flinches when his port is accessed. He has been through a major bone marrow transplant and numerous other procedures to cure the disease, but he just takes it all in stride. It is sad, but it is a way of life for him.I think Caringbridge is a wonderful site and have been the editor of Taylor's site for 3 years. It is such a great way to keep family and friends(old and new)up-dated on your daughter's progress. We are thinking of you as you start out on this new path in your life. It is not easy, but family and friends help so muchDonna Liston
