Hooray for 20 lbs and 10 weeks - 2 milestones reached! Brian and Shannon, you are awesome parents and Hailey is so lucky to have you in her corner. Your fierce love and steadfast determination are the strong weapons in this battle and all of us prayer warriors are right there with you asking God for another milestone reached on Sept. 4th when tests show the tumor has shrunk. God's blessings on you all for a little joy each day to keep you strong.Love, Cheryl and Rick

Hello Meltz family! We have been thinking of you often - wish we could get together...but I know you are exhausted...and exposing Hailey to 3 more children probably isn't at the top of your list of things to do - wish that all you were thinking about for Sept 4th was buying school supplies and getting bed times rolled back lie the rest of us...keeps reminding us how special "normal routines" really are...praying every day - Love, The Langteau FamilyMonday, August 27, 2007 - 11:18am

Hello! We hope things are coming along well since you last posted. Came across a saying on Courage. "Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes Courage is that little voice that says " I'll try again tomorrow!" You are one Courageous family!! My heart just breaks with your anesthesia story. I wish it wasn't so tramatizing for her, but what can you do when she is too young to understand. I am so glad you guys walked with her up and down the same halls because you knew that was so comforting to her. You guys really put your childrens needs ahead of anything else and you show such caring! I am in awe of you both!

Dear Meltz's,It's so hard to make any sense of this and, yet, Hailey's faith is truly amazing. In spite of everything, she feels safe in her mommy's and daddy's arms, trusting that you will take care of her. Such a lesson for all of us to trust that our God will take care of us even when we're scared and hurting and not understanding why "bad" things are happening. We pray that you continue to find strength, courage, determination and comfort in knowing that God is always there with you. You are such an inspiration to us all! Love, Cheryl and Rick

You all continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Just remember...one moment at a time becomes one hour at a time becomes one day at a time becomes one week at a time becomes one month at a time. Every "one" is a step closer toward beating this monster.Bunches of hugs!Kris
