Brian & Shannon: The article was beautiful and I know that a lot of people are talking about it!! I enjoyed our visit with your beautiful daughters on Sat with Grampa, we had a private little birthday party for them and I got to hold Hailey in my arms for a while! I will never forget it!! To The Meltz Family. Like many, I was reading the article in the Post Crescent and was just heartbroken to hear what Hailey is going through. Then I was just amazed at how you have decided to handle things by trying to change the situation by generating awareness and support for PLGA. I firmly believe the awareness you are generating will help her as well as others go on to live a happy and full life.

Dear Brian, Shannon, and Beautiful Girls, I am writing from Vilnius, Lithuania. Brian, you may remember me as Kandi Bowers. I was your babysitter when you were about 8 years old. The story in the Post caught my attention. I finally had a chance to read the website and wanted to send a message saying I am praying for Hailey. Sat. was our golf outing in Tomahawk. The weather was perfect! 48 golfers as well as another 20 that came for dinner and raffles. All the prizes were donated so all the money we raised (we did need to pay for dinner) will go to the PLGA Foundation. We raise $4900.00 after the bills are paid and we are waiting to see how much of that will be matched by Thrivent Luteran Services!!

To the Meltz Family- We read about Hailey in the Post Crescent today. Our daughter, Kaylie, is in Hailey's class at daycare. We have watched her grow up from a little baby into the the beautiful little girl she is today. We were shocked by the news of her diagnosis. Our prayers and thoughts are with Hailey and your family as you go through this difficult time.
