Hi There Hailey & family. I'm sitting at St.Vincents hospital, 10th floor childrens onocology unit with my son when I saw your story on t.v. Michael is now getting his last chemo treatment and has to get 12 radiation treatments yet for Ewings Sarcoma. Hailey is a doll and I will keep her in my prayers! If anyone is interested in a childhood cancer awareness stamp you can go to www.petitionsite.com/petition/521710130. Keep your chins up, you have alot of people pulling for you...

Dear Shannon, I am so sorry to hear about Hailey's brain tumor. What a beautiful family you have. I am proud of the way you are attacking this disease and working to fund research for it. I will be trying to monitor your progress and keep in touch on your website. I have had 2 other children in my life with very big battles with illnesses that need research and better treatment. One of these families is also trying to raise awareness and funding as you are. The other was my husband's niece about 20 years ago. I will keep Hailey and your family in my prayers. I will try to come to the SHop for a Cure event Saturday. Love, Joyce Bauer

Shannon, I was given this website information from my sister-in-law, Mary Hoel. Shannon, we went to nursing school together. I want to send by prayers to you & your family. Your Hailey is so beautiful & so is Faith! This website is amazing & what a wonderful way to allow others to send love & support on your journey with Hailey. I am pregnant with my first baby (due Dec 27th). Children are such a blessing from God & change our lives in so many ways. I will pray for health & peace for Hailey & your family. Inez

Hello Melz's! I just finished reading the journal entries on your website and educating myself about PLGA. As a mother of two little girls myself (Bayley, 4, and Bree, 1), I feel compelled to help out Hailey in any way I can. I'm going to order a shirt, I'd be happy to be a walking advertisment! Do you forsee making children's sizes available in the future? Being a woman, there's nothing that's going to keep me away from shopping this weekend and what better venue for shopping than 'Shop for a Cure'! I'd love to involve my friends, family and co-workers in a fundraising effort for Hailey. Short of organizing a bake sale or raffle (we LOVE 50/50 raffles here!) what else can I do to help? Is there a fundraising packet or a poster I can obtain? I also coach competition cheerleading, I will talk to my girls about what they would like to do to contribute to Hailey's cause. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and let me know if there's anything I can do to help!

Since I will not see your wonderful family until Saturday, Happy Thanksgiving. We are all THANKFUL for so many different things. Sure your family is as well. As you say, time does seem to disappear. I can remember my little Sara being so tiny, so young, so innocent. Now my all grown up Sara is a mother. Which makes me a GRANDPA. I do not need to tell you, cherish the time you have together. I am so proud to be a grandpa. Your turn will come and be here in no time flat. Extra prayers and thoughts with y'all this week. So looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend. God Bless!!!!!!!!!!!

My prayers are with you as you struggle with Hailey's illness. I heard about her through Angie Heroux's Mom and then went on-line to read more. I hope the chemo helps this beautiful little girl, but pray better treatments will soon be available.
