Dear Shannon,Brian, Hailey and Faith, Yours is a story of strength, love and hope!!! I am praying for all of you today. I'm going to a bible study in a little while and I'm going to have all those women praying too. You are my hero's!!! You are a family of strength and love and I'm so glad that God put my in your path. God said, When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression you will not be burned up: the flames will not consume you. Isaiah 43:2 Praying that Jesus will give you the Peace that passes all understanding.

Shannon & Brian - From personal experience :), Dr. "Benny" Iskandar is the BEST!!!! Praying lots for Hailey's quick recovery from the SUCCESSFUL procedure. Glad to hear that you have another option for meds and supplements for Hailey. Less trauma for you and her. Keep Fighting Hailey!! You have a hug support system and we all love you !!! I don't know what to say. I am thankful for the shunt not being needed at this time, "less invasive" is music to our ears. I know having tubee come back is bittersweet, but what a nice back up to have! It will feel so good to be able to give her medications without causing anxiety, and knowing she is getting a full dose!!!!. Tubee is a good thing. I know you are on a slippery slope, but this isn't your first rodeo. You guys work well with tough conditions. You guys are fighters.

I read all your updates and am amazed at the strength and courage your family continues to have in the midst of all the challenges you have had to face...and continue to face, as you receive this latest news. Prayers go out not only for little Hailey but for all of you as you begin this next walk together. The Lord is good and he will be by your side every step of the way. Let him be your strength and your comfort and your shield. When times seem dark and dreary turn to him to light your path. You have an amazing family. God Bless You!

I know this procedure is going to be a piece of cake! Putting the feeding tube back in has to help with the stress level of meds. Whatever makes things a little simpler is a good thing. You guys are always on our minds.

I am sorry to hear Hailey is having to deal with a new chalenge. My daughter also had hydrocephalus as result of her JPA tumor and had the ventriculostomy surgery in March. She did very well with it, only two nights in the hospital and back to her old self in about a week even with a bit of a cold to slow things down. It has worked well for my daughter. After only a month we could tell a difference in her behavior and she seems much more comfortable. Hopefully, it will work as well for Hailey and this surgery will be all she needs to resolve this issue. Keeping your family in my prayers, Carly Laabs

Sorry for the not so good update. Where can I purchase a green Hailey bracelet? You gave me an idea - I want to take a picture of her bracelet on any trips I go and at the same time remind everyone to say a prayer - everyone should do this - lets post Hailey around the world!

Hello- I'm sorry you are having to face another surgery. My thoughts are with you. I've been reading lots about what the Bible says about Angels lately. My prayer is that God will send many Angels to protect Hailey during this course of treatment, with a particularly strong and powerful Angel sitting at the foot of her bed during the week of May 9th. Keep the faith.
