Hello Meltz family. first i would like to say that i can not believe how much you guys go through to keep up with Hailey's Chemo therepy. I hope Hailey is getting better day by day.Brian knows my Grandma (Jeannette Bowers)as the person who babysat for Brian and Amy as kids. My friend Rachel and I live in the same neighborhood as Brians cousin Katie. We're hoping that we can get a neighborhood team together to bowl in the "Bowl for a Cure" or maybe we can walk in the "Team Hailey 5k Run." You're a strong family and we think of you all the time. Good Morning Meltz Family! I just wanted to say how proud I am of each one of you! I saw the slide show of Hailey this morning in the Post Crescent. It brings tears to my eyes what she goes through. I admire you both for being so brave through it all. I'm sure it is no where close to being easy. I would love to play with the girls soon! Give me a call and you two can go out for a nice dinner!! Shannon & Brian, Arthur & I were first learned about Hailey's fight from Matt & Jamie Schroeder a couple months back. I've checked your site several times to see how you and Hailey & Faith are doing. It's wonderful to see the media coverage you've received recently to draw attention to finding a cure. We think of your family so often. Thinking back to our college days, it's impossible to know what path God has planned for our lives. You are handling this challenge with such strength and grace. Hello! We are so very happy to hear of Hailey's weight gain!! Hallmark doesn't seem to make cards for "Congratulations on Your Weight Gain!"--but maybe they need to consider it. We delight in Your JOY and pray that things continue in a positive way. Hailey and Faith are so blessed to have parents like You guys! Love the pic of you making cookies with the girls and wondered if the dancing elves were doing the Doopa Dance? We hope to call and see when we might pay you guys a visit so we can see it in person. So happy to hear about the weight gain. I know we have to hold our breath but gosh tears of joy right now!!! Loved the last entry with all the news happenings happening. You are working so hard and I am in awe of you both. I wish I could hug Hailey everyday, but I am so glad you do it for me!

Brian and Shannon, You don't know how being to hold and play with your little Angel on Christmas Day brought warmth, love, hope and encouragement to me!!! It was so much what I needed and am grateful she was there. Watching Faith interact with everyone as well, was a joy to watch. We love you and are so glad to part of your lives. Hello Meltz Family, I am so happy to hear Hailey has gained weight. The strength, determination and love your family has is an inspiration. God bless you. I received a shirt from the 'teamhailey store' for Christmas (it was on my list:o). Oh my! I just read the update about the new book it brought me to tears instantly that Hailey will be one of the feature children... my God there are a lot of wonderful people in the world.. I think it's great that Marcia is donating the profits to PLGA I ordered my book!! I encourage everyone to the same and to pass it on. Together little by little we will do this and our little Hailey WILL get better!!!!Maybe this is all happening to our family because God knows that we ALL will work hard to pass the word along to help many children. God bless you Shannon and Brian for all that you do and thank you for taking such good care of Hailey we all know this is beyond anything that you imagined as a parent, Faith and Hailey are very lucky to have you both!!!!
