I just watched you on tv and my heart goes out to you and your family. I know the pain that you are going through and the hope that you are holding onto. My daughter Dyan passed away July 2007 from two very rare deseases that have no treatment at all. My hope is that you will find that cure in time for your little angel. The children shouldn't suffer.I will keep her in my daily prayers. Dyan's web page www.dyanmarieorr.com

Hi family, Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the Hackin for Hailey event in Tomahawk yesterday. The weather was almost as beautiful as your two daughters, and the time spent with family and friends was priceless. Many thanks to the Olson family, and Brad & Mary Buch for making the event happen. What first class people they all are! Along with every penny raised for PLGA with this event, goes our prayers to the research crews, doctors and everyone involved in finding a cure for Hailey and every child affected by this horrid illness. Our love, always, Ken & Judy Smith

Hi Brian and Shannon, Good news about Hailey! You have all done amazingly well on this difficult journey and I pray that you'll get the reprieve that you, and especially Hailey, deserve. While it's very disappointing to be number 6, I have to believe that something even better is going to result from the process of spreading the word - many, many more people now know about PLGA and Hailey and the thousands of other children fighting for their lives. And being number 6 says to me that number 5 is reachable and that many people are on board - more of us just have to work a little harder to get more people to take action in the future. And, of course, all of us need to keep praying... Cheryl Stinski P.S. You both look great on tv, and in pictures, and on the website, and in the newspaper, and on the video:-)

Hey Guys- There continues to be smaller fundraisers on campus for Hailey and the PLGA Foundation. Last weekend, there was a Pike Spike on campus (volleyball tournament) that was up on my a fraternity. They raised over $700! St. Mary's University in Texas had a fundraiser as well and they don't know the final number yet, but it is over $2,000 for sure! I'll keep you updated. Praying EVERYDAY. Miss you guys so much....talk to you soon! LOVE ALWAYS-

Hi everyone, Sunday morning we completed the 2nd "Set The Hook For Hailey" 24 hour musky fishing event!! There were 4 fishermen that collcted or are in the process of collecting pledges for the event! We caught 3 muskies ranging from 38 to 39 inches. Most of all it appears we will be collecting about $1500.00!!!! Different business helped out and WJJQ, the local radio station advertised for free and a lot!! Hailey, I have a video for you of us fishing! I will give it to your Mom and Dad when they come to Tomahawk next week!! Love CUZ Jim

Will be praying for good news tomorrow. When Kayla was a baby we ended up at UW as well...she needed to see a Pediatric Immunologist and there were none in Michigan (where we lived at the time, had to go to Madison or Ohio). Can't believe that story hasn't come up when I've seen you....guess it's because it's a distant memory for me. Which is what I hope for you!! Remind me the next time I see you. Fingers crossed.
