HI Shannon & Brian, I just looked up team hailey because I wanted to find out when you are hosting your annual 5K. Now, minutes later after reading your stories, and with tissue in hand, I just wanted to wish you well this week, MRI week. I remember working with families in Madison and I 'get it' when you say that MRI week sucks! It is the day you want to 'X' out of your calendar, yet it still comes. I will be thinking of you all tomorrow...and wishing continued success on your journey and for good news tomorrow. I hope that Benny or Diane or whoever you will see walks in the room with that same 'look of relief' that you are hoping for.Shona Lenss

Hey there, I'm so glad to hear that slowly increasing the pill size is working for Hailey, and that the cottage cheese with the pill is working too. Sadly we moved to Durham, NC and aren't close enough to check up on Dr. Stiles and Kieran at Dana-Farber. I hope all of their studies are still proving to be fruitful and they will soon discover something new for all the PLGA fighters. Sad I wasn't home to visit on Christmas. Gosh, what a day you had! I hope you had some time these past few days to enjoy yourselves. You've been through so much, but I admire your courage and strength as a family as you go through these trials. First i would like to say sorry about your evening and glad that you dealt with it. I will be praying that you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and that the kids are excited about Christ Birthday and all that he gave up for us . De-stress yourself and enjoy the evening tonight and tomorrow. They are only little for awhile. Praying for Hailey's tests to come back wonderful and that her growth will subside. I usually either make them eat before i give medicine and i put it in chocolate or strawberry liquid. Sometimes not eating before or after for 2 hours helps too or to just relax for an hour after taking medicine. God bless and be with you. Tonya & 2 girls

Hello! We were so sorry to hear Your news. Sorry you had to spend the night cleaning up puke. Glad to hear you will take a break from it so she (and you) can have a puke free Christmas. We pray that she will get use to the meds. You guys are so awesome at making life as normal as possible despite all the challenges you face! God Bless all of YOU!!! We loved the Christmas Card with the girls--they are so precious! I think maybe a "prayer day" for Hailey and all of You might be a thought for the new year. Someone pick a date and we can spread the word! Wishing You all Many moments of Laughter and Joy & Peace! Guess this is a good reminder for all of us to live in and enjoy each moment of each day.
